Add all the ingredients except the gelatine, to a pot and heat up gently until the sugar had dissolved and the liquid is hot but not boiling.
If you are using the gelatine sheets, you need to soak them in a bowl full of cold water for about 5 minutes or until they are soft. After 5 minutes remove the gelatine from the bowl and squeeze all the excess water out. Add the soft gelatine to the pot and stir it until it's all dissolved.
If you are using a gelatine sachet, sprinkle it onto the hot liquid and let it dissolve. I sometimes find it quite difficult to dissolve so I pass the liquid through a sieve to remove any lumps.
After the gelatine has dissolved, pour the liquid in 4 containers and leave it to cool for a little bit before let it set in the fridge.
