Raspberry crumble slice
I visited Austria many times with my parents as I grew up very close to the Austrian border. This recipe it’s my version of a Linzer torte, from the Austrian city of Linz, a delicious jam tart with a soft and fragrant pastry. It brings me memory of coffee shops and patisseries, coffee served with whipped cream and thick slices of cake. Enjoy it!
Tea loaf or Bara Brith
Since I moved in this country I learn the reassuring power of a cup of tea and a slice of this tea loaf is the perfect accompaniment. This recipe create a moist fruit loaf with plump dried fruit as they are soaked in tea overnight. Although it is a fat free recipe, it is usually served with a thick layer of butter. Enjoy!
